2006 TEES
It's that time of year for the Central Park Marathon on june 3rd. The proving grounds for speed. Not just rolling down a hill speed, but a true test of endurance and efficiency pushing through flats, uphill, and down. This where EARTHWING SKATEBOARDS come in. This will be our 4th win. Kaspar the powerhouse has taken the last 3 years, but will not be racing this year. I have a couple other magicians training on some new machines. It's going to be our biggest race yet, step up. You can win only if you think you can, and it helps to learn to push switch. The new speedboard will be released, and available to everyone that day.
The SUPERCHARGER is the most efficient deck to cover distance. The unidirectional carbon stringers and s-glass provide 100% reflex memory to spring you from one solid push to the next. It dissapates vibrations to hold speed longer, and has a slightly upturned front truck mounting to give you a little more snap out of the front. Skating in traffic requires a tail. There will always be a chucklehead on a cellphone with a coffee in your way - maybe a baby or two, a car, whatever. You need to be able to pop up, and around obstacles, curbs, potholes. This isn't a perfect hill with a backdrop of sand and waves. This is a city of people who could care less about you or what is going on around them. You are invisible to everyone, so you need to be equipped to handle everything in your way. It kinda feels like a video game with strategically placed enemies to out-wit. There is a tasty 38" version of this being released shortly made with woven thermoplastic. It's a perfect sprinting deck.

For those of you who grew up street skating. This is what you have been searching for the last 20 years. It's a 5 ply maple sandwiched in woven thermoplastic. Unlike most composite decks, this feels, and sounds like a skateboard. Not a tin can, or glorified plexyglass. It won't warp, break, loose it's pop, or make your fingers itchy like standard fiberglass. This stuff is lighter, stiffer, stronger, will never frey, and slides as fast as G.W.'s approval rating. Welcome 2006 ladies and gentlemen. You deserve more, and I am here to give you nothing less than the best.
Available in:
32.25"x8.25"

As always, we are out ripping apart Prospect Park in Brooklyn every friday night. Bring your slide gloves, cones, whatever helps you get your rad on. Take the f train to 15th street, enter the park, and head to your right down the loop to the warzone. As long as it's not raining, we will be there. Any skater is welcome, with any kind of skateboard, the stranger the better.
